We are Recruiting a Part Time Receptionist, up to 18 hours per week plus holiday cover.

The Job

The position is based in our Reception office, working part time based on business requirements.

The working patterns will be on a rota system between the hours of 6.45am and 6.00pm

The job involves, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Hotel and dining reservations.
  • Dealing with enquiries by phone, email and social media outlets, relaying and replying to messages / enquiries.
  • Cash and credit card payments handling
  • Ensuring an efficient reception experience for guests including checking in / out of residents, welcoming customers and attending to their requests and queries during their stay.
  • Daily banking and cash reconciliation
  • General clerical duties
  • Undertaking any appropriate training as required.

We are looking for someone who displays the following qualities:

  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly and helpful at all times.
  • High level of customer service / care skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude.
  • Competent level of IT proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of people – staff, customers, suppliers etc; • Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal skills to communicate with a range of people.
  • Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise.
  • Adhere to company procedures

When you have made your provisional reservation at The White Hart, you need to contact the Superintendent Registrar at:

Notice must then be given, in person, to the Superintendent Registrar in the area where each member of the couple lives (as soon as possible, but within 12 months of the marriage). This notice must then be collected and delivered, by a member of the couple, to the Registrar attending the ceremony, if not in the Oldham district. Only a non-religious ceremony, music and readings are permitted by the Registrar.
