Conferencing

We have a variety of rooms available for business use, whether it’s a small meeting or a conference. The Library is ideal for smaller meetings, while The Oak Room offers the perfect setting for larger meetings and conferences, with The Dining Room and Lounge covering all sizes in between.

Conference Rooms

Our meeting rooms are available to hire for half or a full day, with additional charges added for catering and refreshments if required. We have four rooms available; The Lounge, The Library, The Dining Room and The Oak Room and can cater for small groups or larger parties.

Our facilities include use of a screen, free wireless internet connection, a flipchart, and if the sun is out, use of our garden for break-outs.

Catering

We have a number of options available for delegates, two course Conference Lunch – or relaxed style buffet. In the evenings food may be selected from The Brasserie and Daily Specials menu, or for a small supplement, delegates can choose to upgrade to our à la carte menu.

Included in the main room hire is iced water, cordials, arrival coffee/tea and home-made biscuits, afternoon tea.

Accommodation

We have a delegate rate for dinner, bed and breakfast which is available for all of our 12 en-suite bedrooms in the main hotel and four family suites in The Cottage next door, perfect if your meetings run over the course of several days.

Civil Ceremony Details

When you have made your provisional reservation at The White Hart, you need to contact the Superintendent Registrar at:

Notice must then be given, in person, to the Superintendent Registrar in the area where each member of the couple lives (as soon as possible, but within 12 months of the marriage). This notice must then be collected and delivered, by a member of the couple, to the Registrar attending the ceremony, if not in the Oldham district. Only a non-religious ceremony, music and readings are permitted by the Registrar.
