Rooms
Our luxury AA 4 star Gold Standard bedrooms are all individually styled to the highest standard. We have 12 bedrooms situated in the original building built in 1788, with a further 4 spacious family rooms located in The Cottage next door.
Being perfectly nestled on the edge of the Pennines, there are some great views towards Manchester and the Cheshire plains to be admired, Lydgate weather permitting.
The Main Hotel
The main hotel is a listed building converted in to 12 luxury guest rooms in 1997. The 12 bedrooms, all unique in character are as individual as the local dignitaries they are named after.
It transpired that the home guard used this space as a look out station, a little piece of Lydgate’s dad’s army history. It is now AA 4* gold standard guest accommodation.
